Shipping Policy

We aim to deliver your gear safely and efficiently, whether you're across town or across the globe. Here's everything you need to know about how SnapTrek handles shipping and delivery.

1. Delivery Terms

(a) Order Fulfilment

Subject to your compliance with our Terms and Conditions, SnapTrek will supply the items listed in your confirmed order.

(b) Delivery Address

Orders will be delivered by SnapTrek or a trusted courier partner to the address provided at checkout. You acknowledge that delivery is only available to addresses that meet SnapTrek’s delivery requirements, which may change from time to time.

(c) Estimated Timeframes

Delivery timeframes displayed on our website are estimates only. SnapTrek makes no guarantees as to exact transit times but will use reasonable efforts to deliver your order within the suggested timeframes.

(d) Delays

SnapTrek is not responsible for delays beyond our reasonable control (e.g. courier issues, natural disasters, stock shortages). If your items are not delivered within a reasonable time, and you wish to cancel your order, contact us at order@snaptrek.com.au to request a refund.

(e) Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

If you provide an incorrect or incomplete address, or if your order cannot be delivered due to courier restrictions (e.g. blocked or unsafe access, no one available to receive the parcel), you may be liable for additional delivery charges. SnapTrek may cancel the order and refund you, less any applicable fees, at its discretion.

(f) Overweight or Remote Deliveries

Certain orders may incur additional delivery fees based on size, weight, or remote delivery location. You will be notified before or after placing your order.

  • If additional charges are known before checkout, payment is required in full.
  • If advised after the order is placed, your written approval is required to proceed.

Unless agreed otherwise, delivery will be made to ground level at the specified address. By placing your order, you authorise SnapTrek or the courier to leave your parcel unattended (Authority to Leave), if applicable.

(g) Risk and Title

Risk and ownership of the goods in your order pass to you upon dispatch from our warehouse.

(h) Split Deliveries

If your order contains multiple items, they may be delivered separately depending on stock availability and logistics.

2. Processing Time

  • Standard orders are processed within 1 business day after payment.
  • Peak times (e.g. sales, holidays) may extend processing to up to 2 business days.
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation when your order has been shipped.

3. Shipping Destinations

We ship to:

  • All Australian locations, including metro, regional, and remote areas
  • International addresses, with available countries and estimated times displayed at checkout

4. Estimated Delivery Times

Within Australia:

  • VIC Metro: 2–5 business days
  • VIC Regional: 3–7 business days
  • Other Cities & Regional Areas: 5–10 business days
  • Remote WA, NT, SA: 7–14+ business days (may be delayed due to weather, access, etc.)

International:

  • Estimated 7–20 business days depending on destination and customs clearance.

5. Shipping Methods & Tracking

  • Multiple shipping options may be available and shown at checkout.
  • Tracking details will be emailed once your order ships.
  • If you haven’t received tracking info within 3 business days, contact order@snaptrek.com.au.

6. Shipping Costs

  • Calculated based on your location, selected delivery method, and order weight/volume.
  • View shipping costs during checkout before completing your order.
  • Extra fees may apply for oversized parcels or remote area delivery.

7. Authority to Leave

If you opt for "Authority to Leave" at checkout, your parcel may be left unattended at the delivery location. SnapTrek is not liable for any loss or theft after delivery has occurred.

8. Returns and Defective Goods

If your item is damaged, incorrect, or faulty:

  • Contact us at order@snaptrek.com.au within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Provide your order number, description of the issue, and photos if applicable.
  • All returns must follow our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Goods must be returned in original condition with all accessories. We recommend keeping original packaging to protect items during return transit.

9. Conditions of Sale

  • Orders may be placed online, by email, or by phone.
  • Orders are not accepted until we issue written confirmation (e.g. via email or invoice).
  • Payment (including shipping costs) must be received in full before dispatch.
  • Occasionally, items may be out of stock or discontinued without notice. SnapTrek will offer alternatives or process a refund if an item becomes unavailable.
  • We may update or suspend product listings and prices at any time.
